These gigantic rubber bands are the answer! They’re so simple, it’s kind of genius: 1. Put your garbage bag into the trash can as you usually do. 2. Check that a few spare inches of bag overhang the lip of the can. 3. Stretch the rubber band around the can’s rim 4. On trash day, take out the bag but keep the rubber band around the trash can, waiting for for the next bag. That’s all it takes.
